Real Estate Stories : When an Iguana Meets a Realtor

When I first started in the real estate business, I never expected to come across unexpected surprises like this. This particular incident happened around five to ten years ago when I was showing a group of townhouses that were being sold as one unit.

As we walked through the townhouses, I led the clients upstairs to check out the bedrooms. As I reached the top of the stairs, I approached the first door on the left and opened it. To my surprise, I was face-to-face with a giant iguana that was about six to seven feet long!

I was caught off guard and screamed like a little girl, much to the amusement of my clients. The iguana was just two feet away from me and was sitting on a huge tree limb that someone had cut and stuck in the room. I couldn't believe my eyes.

It was definitely a moment I will never forget and a story that still makes me laugh every time I tell it. The look on my clients' faces was priceless as they watched me react to the unexpected encounter. It just goes to show that you never know what you might come across in the real estate business.
